Sunday-School Classes
Why we serve
We believe that service is an expression of our love and gratitude to God and that it reflects the model of Christian love that we should all strive to live by. Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45). We are called to care for one another, lift each other up, and demonstrate His love through our actions. Through serving, we grow in faith, build community, and embody Christ’s love in the world around us.
Why we learn
Learning helps us draw closer to God and equips us to live faithfully in His image. Through Bible study and experience, we hope to deepen our understanding of God’s Word to strengthen our faith. Study also prepares us to share the Good News with others. As Proverbs 18:15 says, “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.” Through Bible study, discussion, and fellowship, we root ourselves in God’s truth and live a life that honors Him.

Men’s Ecumenical Bible Study
Mondays @ 8:30AM, Room 204
Join fellow men of faith on Monday mornings as we gather to study the Word verse-by-verse. We seek to deepen our relationship with God through His Holy Word.
Rise & Shine
Tuesdays @ 8:00AM, Room 100
This men’s prayer group is a time of encouragement when men can come together and catch up with each other as well as discuss relevant topics for their lives.
Men’s Bible Breakfast
Thursdays @ 7:30AM, Fellowship Hall
Join brothers in Christ on Thursday mornings for food and fellowship. Come enjoy a hearty breakfast and engaging conversation as well as Bible study.
The Chosen Watch Group*
Sundays @ 5:00-7:00PM, Sanctuary
Join us on Sunday evenings throughout the year to watch and discuss episodes of The Chosen, a series that brings the stories of Jesus and his disciples to life. All are welcome!

Noon Bible Study*
Wednesdays @ 12:00PM, Fellowship Hall
At noon on Wednesdays, we meet to read a book of the Bible in a in a table-discussion style talk with our lead Pastor, Scott Gallimore. Join in on one of the various book studies on everything from Judges to John, and maybe learn something new while you’re at it!

Women’s Bible Study*
Wednesday Nights @ 6:00PM, Room 305
Are you seeking a safe space to grow and connect with other women in the Word? You are welcome to join our Wednesday-night women’s Bible study following dinner, where we laugh together, cry together, and deep dive into the joy and peace found within the living Word.

Adelpha Circle
2nd Tuesday Every Month (Except August) @ 9:00AM, Room 200
A Piney Grove Women’s group that actively participates in “The Call,” a foster care and adoption support group, and eagerly works to support Piney Grove Church projects such as Angel Tree, Trash N’ Treasure, and others.
Agape Circle
2nd Monday of Each Month
@ 6:30PM, Room 200
A feisty group of “Agape Gals” who support missions and services such as Change Point, Teen Challenge, International Compassion, Cancer Ministry, Snack Pack, and the Food Pantry. We also participate in churchwide activities such as receptions, potlucks, seasonal festivals, children’s programs, and youth programs.

Adult Sunday School Classes,

Join us every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. between services for our adult Sunday school classes! It’s a great time to dive into Scripture, grow in faith, and connect with others. Everyone is welcome!
How do I find the right class?
Feel free to pop into any of the classrooms in the Christian education wing between services. Signs are provided outside each class. Test out a few of our groups to see what works for you!
